Welcome! I'm Jill—Educator, Mentor, and Homeschool Advocate. Thanks for stopping by! I’m a lifelong educator with a passion for supporting homeschool families. My journey began in a public city school classroom in the 90's, where I discovered a deep love for teaching. After a few wonderful years, I joined the military and proudly served. Following my service, I focused on raising my children and supporting my husband’s military career. He retired after 26 years as a combat-disabled veteran and now teaches as a professor at a large state university. Together, we’ve raised five amazing kids—four have graduated from homeschooling, and I’m currently still homeschooling our youngest, who’s almost 12. Academically, I hold two master’s degrees in education, one in special needs and one in English, and am currently completing my doctorate in education. I will graduate in 2026.
